The best MCP servers for marketing and growth teams (2026)

An MCP server lets your AI agent work inside a marketing tool: read analytics, pull ad reports, update the CRM, draft a campaign, or record what an experiment taught you.

Official servers only, grouped by the job they do for a growth team: experiment records, analytics, ads, SEO, CRM and email, design, automation and A/B testing. We build Hypotize, so read our entry with that in mind: there is no overall score, each server says what the agent can do and what to watch out for, and every claim about another product links to its own pages.

Vendor documentation reviewed on 28 October 2026. A/B testing platforms reviewed on 16 October 2026, Notion, Airtable and spreadsheets on 22 October 2026.

Short answer: connect the servers of the tools you already pay for, starting with analytics, your ad platforms, your CRM or email tool and one SEO source. Prefer servers the vendor builds, check which ones can write, and give the agent one place to record each experiment. Our pick for that record is Hypotize.

Our pick for experiment records

If your agent runs growth experiments, give it Hypotize as the record

Data servers let your agent read the numbers, and action servers let it change campaigns. If your stack has no shared record that holds every test to the method and keeps the result, our pick is Hypotize. Not the pick if you want the vendor's own AI to plan and launch B2B campaigns: that is Growth Method.

Hypotize is the agent-native Growth OS: the framework, MCP server, skills and plugin that let the agent you already use keep every experiment on the method. Three criteria separate the options, each taken from their own documentation.

Hypotize

Outside AI agent access
Yes: a remote MCP server, skills and a plugin, built so an outside agent can run the full experiment record.
Rules on what the agent writes
Enforced by the server on every MCP write and on every stage move: no test reaches Ready without a hypothesis, a success metric, a segment and dates, and none closes without a recorded result and a written learning.
Whose AI does the work
Yours. Hypotize runs no AI of its own and bills no AI usage.

Growth Method

Outside AI agent access
Yes: a documented MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code.
Rules on what the agent writes
Campaigns move one stage at a time, and its MCP docs say the agent moves them the same way as the stage button. A campaign can't be saved as Complete until its test result is filled in. The launch flow runs pre-flight checks before Live, but the docs do not list them, and the stage button skips that flow.
Whose AI does the work
Over MCP, your own AI client, on your Claude or ChatGPT plan. In the app, its own assistant and agents, with AI usage billed at cost.

Notion or Airtable

Outside AI agent access
Yes: both document hosted MCP servers, and the agent writes into a database you design.
Rules on what the agent writes
The docs we reviewed describe no experiment stage checks on MCP writes: the fields, the stages and any checks are yours to build.
Whose AI does the work
Yours, through their MCP servers.

Hypotize is free for 1 member and 1 project, and AI agents are free on every plan. Growth Method row reviewed on 28 October 2026, Notion and Airtable on 22 October 2026.

How the servers work together

One growth experiment across your MCP servers

An example. What each step can do depends on the servers you connect and the approvals you set.

  1. Spot

The agent reads a drop in trial signups from Google Analytics or Mixpanel, and the spend behind it from Meta Ads.

  2. Plan

It adds the idea to the Hypotize backlog with a score, then fills in the hypothesis, the success metric, the segment and the dates. Until those exist, the server keeps the test out of Ready.

  3. Run

With your approval, it drafts the variant in Canva and sets up the test where it runs: the ad platform, the email tool or the A/B testing platform.

  4. Learn

When the test ends, it reads the result from the same servers and closes the experiment in Hypotize with the number and the learning. The next idea starts from it.

How to choose

Three questions before you connect a server

1

Who built it?

A server from the vendor uses the vendor's sign-in and permissions. A community server often wants an API key and asks you to trust its author. This guide lists only servers the vendor builds.

2

Can it change things?

Read-only access cannot change your records, but it still exposes data and can use paid API allowances. Changing a budget or sending an email can spend money or reach customers before anyone looks. Check whether the server writes, and which controls the vendor gives you: read-only modes, opt-in scopes, confirmations, admin rules.

3

What does each call cost?

Several servers bill calls against API units, credits or tasks. An agent that runs a weekly review across five tools makes many calls, so check the allowance before you schedule it.

Experiment records

Where the agent keeps what was tried and learned

Data servers tell the agent what happened. Action servers change campaigns and contacts. A record server holds the hypothesis, the result and the learning, so the next test starts from the last one.

Hypotize

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth. Skills and a plugin on top.

Keeps the experiment record: an idea backlog scored in ICE, PIE, RICE or your own framework, enforced stages and a learning library. Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client reads and updates it inside the conversation, under the stage rules in the table above.

Watch out: No AI of its own: it works with the agent you already use. It does not run or measure tests: the agent reads results from your analytics, ad or A/B testing servers and records them here, and checking the evidence stays with your team. A young product, launched in 2026.

Growth Method

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth or an API token.

Lists and queries campaigns, finds similar past campaigns, and creates, updates, extends, prioritises, archives and comments on them. Its docs name Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code.

Watch out: Its MCP tools are named around campaigns, not a separate experiment object. Data-changing tools ask the user to confirm. Standard is $150 per user per month.

Analytics and behaviour

Analytics servers: what happened on the site and in the product

They answer the question every experiment starts and ends with: what moved.

Google Analytics

Read by default

Local, with Google credentials and a Google Cloud project.

Lists your accounts and properties and runs standard, realtime and funnel reports on GA4 data.

Watch out: Google's docs say it serves read requests only. The repository, marked Experimental, adds one write tool that creates property annotations, off unless you pass the allow-write flag and grant the edit scope. There is no hosted version: you run it yourself.

Sources: Google Analytics MCP docs, google-analytics-mcp repository. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Mixpanel

Read and write

Hosted in the US, EU and India, OAuth.

Runs insights, funnel, flow and retention queries, and manages dashboards, cohorts, Lexicon, experiments and feature flags in the projects the user can access.

Watch out: An organisation admin may need to enable MCP in AI Settings. Requests are capped per user per hour, and free plans can hit Query API limits.

Sources: Mixpanel MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Microsoft Clarity

Read only

Local, with a Clarity Data Export API token.

Pulls Clarity metrics such as traffic, scroll depth and rage clicks, filtered by device, country or URL, and lists matching session recordings.

Watch out: Clarity is free, but the API allows 10 requests per project per day and at most 3 days of data per request.

Sources: Clarity MCP server, clarity-mcp-server repository. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Contentsquare (Hotjar)

Read only

Hosted, OAuth.

Answers questions about sessions, heatmaps, journeys and surveys from your AI assistant, within the permissions you already have. Hotjar is now part of Contentsquare.

Watch out: The free tier includes a monthly cap on tool calls. We could not read the setup article, so plan limits above the free tier are not covered here.

Sources: Contentsquare MCP server, Hotjar free MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Ad platforms

Ad platform servers: spend, results and, on some, the campaigns themselves

The category with the most at stake. Some servers only read reports. Others let the agent create campaigns and change budgets, so check the access line under each name before you connect one.

Meta Ads

Read and write

Hosted, Facebook Login for Business or an access token.

Pulls performance reports, creates and edits campaigns, ad sets and ads, and manages catalogs, custom audiences, A/B tests and lift studies.

Watch out: Announced in open beta in April 2026. Business admins can set rules on what the agent may touch, such as blocking budget changes. Agencies managing other businesses need App Review.

Google Ads

Read only

Local, or self-hosted on Cloud Run. OAuth or a service account.

Lists the accounts it can reach and runs reporting queries on metrics, budgets and status.

Watch out: It cannot change bids, pause campaigns or create assets. You need a Google Cloud project with Google Ads API access. A Google-hosted endpoint is a pilot for allowlisted participants.

Sources: Google Ads MCP server docs, google-ads-mcp repository. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

TikTok Ads

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth with a TikTok for Business account, or a Marketing API token.

Creates and updates Smart+ and GMV Max campaigns, ad groups and ads, sets budgets, manages audiences, catalogs and creatives, and pulls reports.

Watch out: The OAuth authorization lasts 30 days, then the user signs in again. Tool availability varies by region and account.

Sources: TikTok for Business MCP server, TikTok MCP changelog. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Amazon Ads

Read and write

Hosted, one endpoint per region. Amazon Ads API credentials or OAuth.

Creates, updates and deletes campaigns, changes budgets, runs reports and queries account and billing data.

Watch out: In open beta since February 2026, for Amazon Ads partners with active API credentials.

Sources: Amazon Ads MCP overview, Amazon Ads open beta announcement. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Microsoft Advertising

Read only

Hosted, Microsoft Entra ID or personal Microsoft account OAuth.

Queries campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords and audiences, pulls performance and change history, and exports reports.

Watch out: An open pilot with read-only access. Some clients need your own Entra app registration.

Supermetrics

Read and write

Hosted, connected from your Supermetrics account.

One connection to the marketing data sources in your Supermetrics account, such as Google Ads, Facebook, TikTok, Google Analytics and LinkedIn Ads. It answers performance questions across platforms and can create or modify campaigns.

Watch out: Needs a Supermetrics subscription with access to the Supermetrics API. New campaigns start paused, so someone reviews them before they go live.

Sources: Supermetrics MCP server, mcp.supermetrics.com. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

SEO and market data

SEO servers: keywords, backlinks, rankings and competitors

All four read data and none of them changes your site. Most bill each call against API units or credits, so a busy agent can spend a monthly allowance quickly.

Ahrefs

Mostly read

Hosted, OAuth or an MCP key.

Pulls backlink, keyword, ranking, site audit and brand mention data, plus the Search Console data you connected to Ahrefs.

Watch out: Needs the Lite plan or higher, and calls consume API units. The docs do not say whether the project and keyword list tools write.

Sources: Ahrefs MCP introduction, Ahrefs MCP tool categories. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Semrush

Read only

Hosted, OAuth or an API key.

Queries keyword, backlink, domain and competitor data, and reads your existing Semrush projects. Traffic and market data need a Trends API subscription.

Watch out: Works on specific Semrush plans with API units included, or on higher plans with an API units package. It cannot create projects or change settings.

Sources: Semrush MCP docs, Getting started with MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

DataForSEO

Read only

Hosted with OAuth, or local with npx or Docker.

Runs live SERP checks, keyword research, backlink lookups, on-page audits and AI visibility queries.

Watch out: Pay as you go with a $50 minimum top-up. Every call costs credit, so cap what the agent may run.

Sources: DataForSEO MCP, DataForSEO pricing. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Similarweb

Read only

Hosted, an API key for most clients.

Pulls website traffic and engagement, channel mix, referrals, keywords and audience overlap for any domain.

Watch out: Needs an API-only, Business or Enterprise plan, and calls use data credits like standard API calls.

Sources: Similarweb MCP setup, Similarweb MCP launch. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

CRM and lifecycle

CRM and email servers: contacts, campaigns and conversations

Where the agent meets your customers. Most of these servers write, and a few can send, so the controls each vendor documents matter as much as the features.

HubSpot

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth.

Reads and updates CRM records and activities, drafts landing pages, blog posts, campaigns and marketing emails, and reads content and email analytics.

Watch out: Generally available to all accounts since April 2026, with some tools gated by Hub tier. Actions follow the connected user's permissions, so connect it with a user whose access you are happy to give the agent.

Sources: Remote HubSpot MCP server, HubSpot GA changelog. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Salesforce

Read and write

Hosted, per-user OAuth through an External Client App.

Queries and updates CRM records and runs org automation such as Flows as the signed-in user. A read-only server is available next to the full one.

Watch out: For Enterprise Edition orgs and above. Servers are off by default and an admin enables each one.

Sources: Salesforce hosted MCP servers, Salesforce GA announcement. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Klaviyo

Read and write

Hosted with OAuth, or local with a private API key.

Builds and edits campaigns, flows, templates, segments and profiles, pulls campaign and flow reports, and can send a campaign.

Watch out: Only Owner, Admin and Manager roles can connect the hosted server. A read-only mode exists: use it until you trust the agent with sends.

Sources: Klaviyo MCP server, Connect to the Klaviyo MCP server. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Customer.io

Read and write

Hosted in the US and EU, OAuth with each user's own login.

Queries people, segments, campaigns and metrics. With extra scopes, it edits workspace data.

Watch out: Read access by default: writing, deleting and editing live data are scopes you opt into. An admin enables MCP first.

Sources: Customer.io MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Intercom

Mostly read

Hosted in the US and EU, OAuth or an API token.

Searches conversations, contacts, companies and Help Center articles, adds internal notes and creates or updates Help Center articles.

Watch out: It cannot send replies to customers: notes stay internal. Australian workspaces are not supported.

Sources: Intercom MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Brevo

Read and write

Hosted, an API key created with the MCP option.

Looks up contacts and stats, adds contacts to lists, and creates email and SMS campaigns and CRM deals.

Watch out: Authentication is an API key, not OAuth, so scope the key and store it like a password.

Sources: Brevo MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Design and content

Design servers: creative the agent can draft

For teams whose agent prepares the variants a test needs: ad creative, social posts, landing sections.

Canva

Read and write

Hosted, per-user OAuth.

Generates designs from a prompt, searches designs and folders, edits and comments, autofills brand templates and exports to PDF, PNG, PPTX or MP4.

Watch out: The connector works on every plan, including Free. Brand templates and autofill need a paid plan, and AI actions use your Canva AI allowance.

Sources: Canva MCP generally available, Canva AI connector setup. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Figma

Read and write

Hosted. A desktop server also runs through the Figma desktop app.

Reads design context such as variables, components and layout. On the hosted server, it also writes to Figma Design, FigJam and Figma Slides canvases.

Watch out: Writing to the canvas needs the hosted server, is in beta, free for now and usage-based later. Writing outside drafts needs a Full seat.

Sources: Figma MCP server, Guide to the Figma MCP server. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Webflow

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth.

Creates and edits pages, elements, styles, components and CMS items on your Webflow sites, so the agent can build the landing variant a test needs.

Watch out: Each authorization covers a single workspace: to switch, you authorize again. Page branches need an Enterprise plan.

Sources: Webflow MCP overview, Webflow MCP getting started. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Automation

Automation servers: one connection to the apps that have no server

When a tool in your stack has no MCP server, an automation platform can stand in for it, at the cost of one more layer to maintain.

Zapier

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth for most clients.

Runs actions across Zapier's app catalog, such as sending messages, creating tasks and updating records.

Watch out: Each successful call uses two tasks from your Zapier plan. Sharing a server needs Team or Enterprise.

Sources: Zapier MCP docs, Zapier MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Make

Read and write

Hosted, OAuth or an API key.

Runs on-demand scenarios. On paid plans it can also view and change scenarios, connections, webhooks and data stores.

Watch out: The server itself is free: you pay the credits of the scenarios it runs. Management tools need a paid plan.

Sources: Make MCP server, Make MCP. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

n8n

Read and write

On your own n8n instance, cloud or self-hosted. OAuth or an API key.

Searches and runs the workflows you expose to MCP, and in recent versions builds and edits workflows and data tables.

Watch out: Each instance has its own server address, and an owner or admin enables it. The agent sees only the workflows you enabled for MCP that the connected user can access.

Sources: Connect to the n8n MCP server. Reviewed 28 October 2026.

Notion, Airtable and spreadsheets: a record you build yourself

Where many teams first point the agent. Each works while someone designs the fields and keeps them in order.

Notion

A hosted MCP server: after OAuth, an agent can read and update the pages and databases the user can access.

Watch out: The fields, the scoring formula and the stage rules are yours to build and maintain.

Google Sheets

Google's Sheets MCP server reads and writes cells, formulas and rows with the user's permissions.

Watch out: It is in developer preview, so check you can get access first. Owners, stages and closing rules are conventions the team keeps by hand.

Excel is not in this list: agents reach workbooks in OneDrive or SharePoint through the Microsoft Graph Excel API, an API rather than an MCP server.

Questions

MCP servers for marketing

Each answer summarises entries above, where every claim links to its source with a review date.

What is an MCP server for marketing?

An MCP server lets an AI agent such as Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Cursor or Codex work inside a marketing tool: read analytics, pull ad reports, update a CRM or draft a campaign. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard most AI clients use to connect to tools.

What are the best MCP servers for marketing and growth teams?

Start with the tools you already pay for. A common starting stack is one analytics server such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel, the ad platforms you spend on, such as Meta Ads or Google Ads, your CRM or email tool, such as HubSpot or Klaviyo, and one SEO source such as Ahrefs or Semrush. For the experiment record, our pick is Hypotize: through MCP, the server holds the agent to the method, so every test it closes carries a recorded result and a learning.

What is the best MCP server for growth experiments?

Our pick for experiment records is Hypotize, for teams whose AI agent runs their growth experiments. It keeps the backlog, the stages, the results and the learnings. Its server refuses to move a test to Ready without a hypothesis, a success metric, a segment and dates, and refuses to close one without a recorded result and a learning. It runs no AI of its own. Growth Method also has an MCP server, built around campaigns: it requires a test result to complete a campaign, and sells its own in-app AI agents.

Can an AI agent change my ad campaigns through MCP?

On some platforms, yes. Meta Ads, TikTok Ads and Amazon Ads document servers that create and edit campaigns and budgets, and Supermetrics can create or modify campaigns, which start paused. Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising document read-only servers. Meta lets business admins set rules on what the agent may change, such as budgets.

Is there an official MCP server for Google Search Console, LinkedIn Ads or Mailchimp Marketing?

We found none on 28 October 2026. Google documents MCP servers for Analytics and Ads but not for Search Console. LinkedIn's Marketing API documentation has no public MCP server. Mailchimp's official servers search its docs or send transactional email, and do not reach marketing audiences or campaigns. Ahrefs reaches connected Search Console data, and Supermetrics reaches LinkedIn Ads data, through their own servers.

Are community MCP servers safe to use?

They can be, but you are trusting the author with your account. A server built by the vendor follows the vendor's sign-in and permissions. A community server often asks for an API key or token, and it is up to you to read the code and keep it updated. This guide lists only servers built by the vendor.

How do I keep an AI agent from making costly changes?

Use the controls vendors document. Customer.io starts read-only and makes writes an opt-in scope. Klaviyo has a read-only mode. Growth Method asks the user to confirm changes. Meta lets admins block changes such as budgets. Supermetrics starts new campaigns paused. For experiments, Hypotize refuses MCP writes that skip a stage or close a test without a result.
